Sabor Tropical has always been a dream for owner and longtime entrepreneur Jesse Fonseca. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Jesse first started working at his uncle's restaurant named El Farol Restaurant at the early age of fifteen years old. Since their closing, he made it his goal to open something more extravagant and over the top then El Farol restaurant, but with the same great Caribbean cuisines and cocktails.
First time checking this place out. I love how welcoming the place felt. Had good Reggaeton music playing. The drinks were Amazing. The Puerto Rican rice was mouth watering, so good. Definitely will be coming back.
Absolutely fantastic place. I got the jabirito with the yuka fries and it blew me away. Also really enjoyed the staff. Super welcoming and a great place to get lunch!
Why is this my first time here??? The food was amazing and full of flavor!! I had the Tostones Rellenos with steak and Puerto Rican rice. I hiiiighly recommend both. I will definitely be back to try something else.
I got the steak jibarito, the jibarito has good flavor with good tender steak, my side dish was arroz con gandules that was also very delicious.
